Nashville is easily becoming one of my favorite places to visit. From the kind people to some of the best food I’ve ever tasted, Nashville holds a special place in my heart.
So, why should you visit Nashville?
Hot Chicken: It is the signature dish of Nashville. Nashville has made a mark in the food world with their hot chicken, but there’s a lot more that the city offers so when visiting Nashville be sure to ask the locals about all the best places. If you decide to visit, check out Hattie B’s on Charlotte Pike. You won’t regret it 🙂
Scope Out Street Art : The outdoor scenery is epic in Nashville. Whether you’re an artsy person or looking for a way to brighten up your Instagram feed (#whynot), Music City has several murals you can check out by taking a stroll downtown.
Affordability : I can personally attest to this. My family and I went to the Opry Mills Mall and I was beyond shocked at how cheap things were. I also noticed the food is more affordable as well. I live in Washington, DC so I’ve pretty much gotten use to paying $14 for a salad. Yes, you read that right. I can definitely see Stephen and I ditching DC for Nashville in the near future 🙂
Friendliest People: I’m not exaggerating when I say the people in Nashville are amongst the friendliest in the United States. I grew up in Mississippi, so southern hospitality is a way of life however, I must say that the people of Nashville have set the bar HIGH. I’ve noticed wherever you go in the city, people will talk to you, joke with you, ask questions, etc. I love it 🙂
Nashville, I love you.
